Automatic protection
Decide once who may be recognisable – Blurami applies it to every photo.
The three modes
Settings › Protection Defaults › Automatic Protection:
- Off – only faces you assign to a person are protected, by that person’s profile.
- Hide selected people – the people on your list are protected wherever Blurami recognises them.
- Show only selected people – every face is protected except the people on your list. How unknown faces look is set under Unrecognised faces.
People go on the list once a face has been assigned to them. In a subject you can also use the automatic protection switch directly.
Different for one project
Consent can differ from occasion to occasion. In the project, Customize Project › Automatic Protection › Custom: its own mode and list – add or exclude people for this project only. Or run the Face protection assistant again.
What happens in the photo
In the photo under Subjects, Protected areas shows what is made unrecognisable on export – and why: by the rule or by the person’s setting.
- Show – this face is visible in this one photo
- Protect again – undoes that
- Rebuild – all areas anew from the faces; faces you showed are lost
Faces protected by a rule count as done.
Please check
Recognition is never perfect. Look at the preview (Before/After) before exporting – especially with group photos.
